We have to send certificates to the Revenue for vehicles to be registered.

When a cert is sent we could receive an email outlining that the sum of the axles or not adding up to the mass of the vehicle.

If this happens we have to:

  1. Open Explorer
  2. Navigate to \\wwsiis\d$.
  3. Go to Scheduled Scripts file.
  4. Next click on COC Send file.
  5. Go to backup.
  6. Take the last 7 digits of the chassis number and search it in the file explorer.
  7. The chassis number will be found in the email that displays the error.
  8. Once you search for the chassis number edit the most recent file using notepad++.
  9. In the text file there will be be number under the "MassOfTheVehicleRunningOrder".
  10. The axles fields must add up to the field mentioned in step 9.
  11. There could be 2, 3 or 4 fields depending on the number of axles in the vehicle.
  12. Change one of the fields so that the sum of all axles will add up to the "MassOfTheVehicleRunningOrder".
  13. Once you have changed one of the fields and all the axles add up to the sum of the "MassOfTheVehicleRunningOrder" field, save as  the file to the COC send folder.
  14. The name of the file should be "TruckChassis......ChassisNumber...todaysdate" so in the example with the image above it would be TruckChassis......5775491...24_06_25
  15. Once it is saved the file will move to the backup file and you should receive an email confirming the cert being sent without issues.
